Die beiliegenden Berichte zeigen den aktuellen Stand der Umsetzung der Sicherheitsempfehlungen auf. Die Empfehlungen wurden durch das Schweizerische Büro für Flugunfalluntersuchung (BFU) gemacht, der Statusbericht stammt vom Schweizer Bundesamt für Zivilluftfahrt (BAZL) bzw. vom Civil Aviation Safety Officer (CAMO) des UVEK:
- Zusammenstoss zweier Segelflugzeuge bei der Walliser Wispile, 29. Juli 2003
- Kollision eines Hubschraubers mit Transportkabel bei Mergoscia, 22. Januar 2004
Das BAZL schreibt darin: „The rapid distribution of [FLARM] only a few months after their introduction was not accomplished through regulatory measures, but rather on a voluntary basis and as a result of the wish on the part of the involved players to contribute towards the reduction of collision risk. The FOCA recommends that glider tow planes and helicopters that operate in lower airspace should also use collision warning systems.“
